Secret Sauce for Chinese Stir Fry

This recipe is from The Art of Cooking on YouTube. He has some awesome Chinese dishes.

Ingredients to make 2.2 cups:

  • 1.5 cup or 355 mL unsalted HOT Chicken or Veg. Stocks
  • 3 tbsp or 45 mL Soy Sauce:
  • 2.5 tbsp or 30 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp or 30 mL Chinese cooking wine
  • 2 tbsp or 30 mL LKK Oyster Sauce:
  • 1 tbsp or 15 mL Hoisin Sauce:
  • 1 tbsp or 15 mL Pearl River Dark Mushroom Flavored Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp or 5 mL Sesame Oil
  • 1 root or 2 tsp (cut) Green Onions Roots
  • 1-2 tsp minced ginger
  • 1-2 tsp minced garlic
  • A sprinkle of white pepper

Instructions:

  1. Combine all the ingredients together. Let the sauce cool down This allows the flavor to come together.

  2. Drain and discard the roots after cooling.

  3. Store the sauce in the fridge or freeze the sauce (portion in ice tray and freeze). the Good in the fridge for about 1 month.
